At Liberty Baptist Academy, our mission is to instill kindness, respect, responsibility, hard work, and joy in all aspects of learning and community life. We believe in fostering an environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually, preparing them to make a positive impact in the world.
Our History
Liberty Baptist Academy was started by the late Pastor H. Wayne Williams in September of 1980 with 24 students. Pastor Williams was instrumental in securing Christian school and homeschool liberties in the state of SD by introducing legislation before the Senate education committee and defending our rights in Christian education. As a result of these efforts and God’s hand of blessing, LBA is still in operation today!​
